The DFC is currently involved with three key issues. We are participating in the AFFECT coalition in order to address some of the many problems associated with the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act.

The DFC is currently participating in discussions that will lead to the drafting of Federal legislation involving databases. We are also involved with the Copyright Office's rulemaking on section 1201 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
